Tomoya is a highly experienced talent acquisition and career transition consultant with expertise in executive search, full-cycle recruitment, and career coaching. He has a proven track record of successfully sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for organizations of all sizes. With an in-depth understanding of the recruitment process, Tomoya has developed and implemented effective recruitment strategies that align with the unique needs and culture of each organization he partners with. He is a trusted advisor to hiring managers and human resources teams, providing guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
Tomoya is a senior member of Cenera’s Career Transition team. He works with HR teams and managers to ensure that employees are treated with respect and dignity throughout the transition process, and that the organization’s reputation is preserved. He provides support and guidance to individuals who are transitioning out of the organization, either due to layoffs or termination, or who are seeking to make a career change within the organization. He works with individuals to assess their skills, strengths, and interests, identifying new career paths and/or opportunities, developing job search strategies, preparing resumes and cover letters, and providing coaching and training on interviewing and networking skills.
Tomoya holds a Business Administration diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and is a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) through the Institute of Professional Management (IPM). He is a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) and a certified CPI Career Transition Consultant through Career Partners International (CPI). Additionally, he holds a Client Relationship Management certificate from the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) and a Certificate of Achievement from the Calgary Hoshuko Japanese School Association. Tomoya is fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Japanese and English.
