Sherry began working with Cenera as a consultant in 2015. She works in our Career Transition, Workplace Investigations, and Human Resources Management practice areas.
Sherry brings a depth of experience in career development and job search strategies (resume development, networking, interviewing, job offer negotiations). Recognized as an effective communicator, who provides supportive coaching to clients by active listening, establishing clarity on career and employment goals. Well-developed team skills and a collaborative work style.
With over 20 years experience in strategy development and leadership for attraction and retention, acquisitions and divestitures, training and development, compensation and benefit design, recruitment, change management, performance management, organizational design, facility management, and corporate services.
She has prior leadership, board, and management experience supporting best practices in public organizations where she worked effectively as Vice President Human Resources and Corporate Services in oil and gas for 20+ years. She has also worked with individuals to further their self-development and confidence as leaders, supporting managers in the integration into new roles, by developing effective training programs to ensure a successful transition into their new roles, as well as re-defining career and personal goals during career transition.
Sherry has obtained her Career Transition Certification – Senior Consultant through Career Partners International and a degree from the University of Calgary in Human Resource Management.
