This exciting new initiative will enable rural and regional communities to build broadband infrastructure in their communities and ensure modern broadband services are offered without the community having to operate the infrastructure or become broadband specialists.
Our client aims to provide Alberta communities with a means to ensure that modern broadband services are available to the citizens and businesses within their communities. Outside of major metropolitan centres, rural and regional communities are drastically underserved by existing telecommunication companies and internet service providers. Our client will be specifically structured to address the needs and challenges of rural and regional communities.
Our client is seeking a Vice President, Operations to help lead the launch and growth of the organization.
As a member of the Executive Team and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President, Operations is accountable for the day-to-day operations and performance of the business. This includes working with the CEO to set, measure and execute goals and strategies. This role is also accountable for developing safe work practices, attracting new opportunities, partnerships, investors, and alliances through effective relationship and business development, and the safe ongoing operations to procure, install and maintain the necessary broadband infrastructure to meet the communities’ needs.
