Joining Cenera in 2013, Tanya’s main focus is in the Career Transition and Career Management Coaching practice area. Tanya’s friendly, approachable personality quickly establishes rapport as she enthusiastically determines the career vision of her clients and coaches them through all aspects of job transition.
Tanya is an active listener and engaged coach who assists her clients in establishing their career goals and work towards them successfully. She loves to see the transformation and hope that her clients feel as they work through their career transition and reach their objectives. Tanya brings experience from a variety of sectors, including oil and gas, banking, technology, insurance and government.
Tanya earned a BGS in Communication, has a Career Development Certificate and Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Calgary. She also obtained an Executive Coaching Certificate (CEC) from Royal Roads University. She is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and an active member of the Human Resource Institute of Alberta (HRIA) and the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Empowering others with the tools to succeed
Tanya serves as the Mentorship Chair for the Business Professional Women of Calgary (BPW), an organization that is dedicated to developing the professional and leadership potential of women through education, awareness, advocacy and mentoring. Also through BPW Tanya is involved in groups that improve conditions for disadvantaged women, such as Making Changes and Servants Anonymous.
Tanya loves to spend time outdoors – whether she’s out biking or hiking in the summer or relishing the Alberta winters as a Master Cross-Country Skier. She frequently volunteers at Cross-Country ski events, inspiring others to better health and fitness.
