Before Andy became an executive coach, he spent 30 years in the global petrochemical business working in commercial and executive roles. Andy brings leadership, strategic thinking and a caring voice of reason to every client relationship.
Andy worked at Shell in global roles in project and business management and then executive management. He has managed both start up and established businesses. Andy understands global matrix structure and local client needs.
Andy enjoys working with not-for-profit organizations and served on the Calgary United Way Campaign Cabinet with a focus on growth and prospecting. Andy now leads the new coaching effort at United Way to support their agencies.
Andy is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry (Mathematics option) from the University of Waterloo. Andy has also received business and executive training from both Western Ivy and Wharton Schools of Business. Andy received the Centennial Medal award from the Alberta government for contributions to the industry development and was given the Chairman’s Award from Canadian Chemical Producers’ Association. He served as a board member on the Calgary Chapter of ICF for four years.
