As an Associate Management Consultant, Amanda draws on broad experience in the field of Human Resources. Her past experience in Senior Advisor and Business Partner roles enables Amanda to partner with business leaders and generate practical solutions in matters relating to performance management, workforce planning, policy development, international HR, privacy compliance and compensation strategy.
More recently Amanda’s work focuses on conducting workplace investigations, providing assessment support for these programs, and conducting privacy impact assessments. Amanda takes a consultative approach, fostering positive client relationships with professionalism and integrity. She has conducted over over 10 independent workplace investigations in various industries. Amanda utilizes skills developed through both formal and informal training to provide professional, efficient and thorough investigation services treating all parties to an investigation with dignity and respect, with clear communication.
An eye for detail
With a keen eye for detail, Amanda takes a methodical approach to organizing, interpreting and presenting data. Her experience partnering with business leaders allows Amanda to apply thorough research and metrics to the larger business context, making her guidance and recommendations relevant and practical.
Amanda has a BA Honours in Archaeology and a Certificate in Human Resources Management. She furthers her conflict resolution training and interest in mediation as a member of the Community Mediation Calgary Society.
An outdoor enthusiast
In her spare time, one is likely to find Amanda hiking in the mountains, cycling, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. She is passionate about cycling and volunteers with the Elbow Valley Cycle Club. When not outdoors, one might find her reading or engaged in woodwork.
Amanda serves part time in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves.
